Egypt’s El Alamein International Airshow 2026, one of the country’s major aviation and defense events, will bring together global industry players in Egypt from September 8-10. Defensehere will attend the event as its official media partner and provide exclusive coverage from the show.
Previously held under the name Egypt Airshow, the event will take place for the second time this year under its new name, El Alamein International Airshow. The exhibition will be held at El Alamein International Airport, while the conference program will begin one day earlier, on September 7.
The event aims to bring together companies and organizations from the aviation, defense, and space sectors across Africa and the Middle East. Government and military officials, civil aviation authorities, space organizations, aerospace companies, defense manufacturers, and industry professionals are expected to attend.
A global meeting point for aviation and defense
The three-day exhibition will feature static and flying displays of military and civilian aircraft, alongside new products and technologies developed for the aviation, defense, and space sectors.
Meetings and a VIP delegation program will also provide opportunities for companies to engage with decision-makers and strengthen business ties. The event is expected to serve as an important platform for companies seeking new business opportunities in African and Middle Eastern markets.
The inaugural edition brought together more than 200 exhibitors, over 10,000 visitors, and more than 50 aircraft, with participation from over 80 countries. The 2026 edition is also expected to attract strong international participation.
The event is being organized with the support of Egyptian institutions, including the Ministry of Defense, Egyptian Air Force, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Egyptian Space Agency, and EgyptAir.
