HAVELSAN, one of the Turkish defense industry companies, opened an office in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The opening ceremony of the office in the Informatics Valley, established by Türkiye in Baku, was attended by Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Head of the Presidential Digital Transformation Office Dr. Ali Taha Koç, Deputy Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Vüqar Mustafayev, and Ambassador of Azerbaijan Cahit Bağcı.
HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar and Deputy General Manager Ömer Özkan were also present during the opening.
Minister Kacır said, “Research and development activities in the Baku Informatics Valley will be monitored and supported, just like the processes carried out in the Informatics Valley campuses in Türkiye.”
