In an interview with Defensehere.com Kirk Schultz, the Regional Director of Boeing Defense, presented their products and capabilities at Egypt International Airshow.

Kirk Schultz presented one of the company’s main products: the F-15EX.

“It has the best combination of range, speed and the most powerful radar on earth from a fighter aircraft,” he added.

He said that the current customer for the F-15EX is the U.S. Air Force and Qatar Air Force has the F-15QA which is an earlier variant of the F-15EX.

He also presented the AH-64 Apache helicopters. He said that Egypt has AH-64D and that they are upgrading their current aircraft to AH-64E configuration to bring them in line what the U.S. Army currently has. The improvements for the AH-64E include an increased radar capability with the longbow radar, greater structural integrity of the airframe itself and more precision with the radar and the weapon system, as he stated.

Besides the F-15EX and AH-64 Apache, Boeing Defense also displayed Chinook CH-47 helicopter. The improvements of the Chinook CH-47 include more fuel structural improvement and greater range, as he stated.
