Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS) Group, to which CANiK is affiliated, has added a new one to its groundbreaking solutions in the defense industry.

The 30×113 mm lowrecoil medium caliber gun system, developed in cooperation with AEI Systems and UNIROBOTICS within the group, has attracted great attention at home and abroad to meet the needs of the world's armies from the moment it emerged.

This system, which combines the VENOM LR cannon with the TRAKON 30, one of the most striking members of the TRAKON Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) family, was appreciated by the armies of the world for its superior performance as a result of comprehensive live fire carried out at SYS Group's facilities in the United Kingdom.

In a short time, this innovative solution, which combines the capabilities of the low-recoil medium caliber gun VENOM LR and the TRAKON 30, will be put into service to meet the needs of end users in Türkiye.

The introduction of VENOM LR and TRAKON 30 to end users in Türkiye will contribute to the strengthening of domestic and national production in the field of defense industry and to meeting the needs with domestic opportunities.

The VENOM LR, which has the world's lowest recoil and adjustable rate of fire with a 30×113 mm gun, allows the system to be easily integrated into different platforms. Thanks to its modular design, the VENOM LR can be quickly adapted to platforms and can use many 30×113 mm ammunition with different characteristics.

The VENOM LR has a wide range of uses on the battlefield. It offers an effective solution in various missions from residential area operations to close air defense warfare, from combating asymmetrical threats at sea to amphibious operations, from infantry forward fire support to strategic facility protection.

VENOM LR, which can be easily integrated into all kinds of manned or unmanned land and sea vehicles with the TRAKON 30 Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) produced by UNIROBOTICS, provides a superior deterrence against both current and future threats thanks to this innovative system.

High demand is a source of pride

SYS Group-UNIROBOTICS General Manager Ömür Baç pointed out that VENOM LR is the world's most medium-caliber gun that can be integrated into the most platforms.

Stating that they put this gun into service for land and sea platforms with the TRAKON 30 developed by UNIROBOTICS, Baç said, "This is in high demand not only in our country, but also in friendly and allied countries. Emphasizing that the increasing competitiveness in the global arena with the 30×113 mm Medium Caliber Gun Concept will support Türkiye's defense industry export targets, Aral stated that Türkiye will be made even more visible in the international defense sector.

Pointing out that VENOM LR is the product of AEI Systems' 60 years of experience and a modern version of a system that has proven itself on the battlefield, Aral said:
