The UAE’s EDGE Group and Italy-based Magnaghi Aerospace Group (MA Group) announced an agreement to explore cooperation that could expand EDGE’s capabilities in unmanned aerial vehicles and advanced aerial systems, officials said Friday.
Partnership aims to enhance UAV technology
The memorandum of understanding, signed at the Dubai Airshow by Rodrigo Torres, CFO of EDGE, and Paolo Graziano, executive chairman of MA Group, sets a framework for future partnerships. The collaboration could include development in areas such as landing gear systems and core components for autonomous aerial solutions.

Leaders emphasize strategic importance
Hamad Al Marar, managing director and CEO of EDGE Group, said the agreement marks a significant step toward expanding EDGE’s signature unmanned programs. “Working with MA Group ensures we remain ahead by leveraging the expertise of experienced industry players,” he said.
Paolo Graziano of MA Group said the partnership allows his company to contribute its expertise in landing systems, aerostructures, and aerial operations developed through its Sky Arrow aircraft program. “We are pleased to begin this journey with a key player such as EDGE,” Graziano said.
