The United Arab Emirates launched the "Al Taf" missile boat at a ceremony attended by Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan as part of NAVDEX 2025.
The 62-meter-long naval vessel is equipped with advanced defense capabilities and state-of-the-art technologies, including state-of-the-art navigation and surveillance systems, integrated protection systems against surface and air threats, comprehensive electronic warfare capabilities, automatic control systems, and next-generation smart weapons.
Thanks to these capabilities, it is reported that the operational readiness and flexibility of the vehicle against different threats in various naval environments has been increased.
Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan underlined the strategic contribution of the "Al Taf" missile boat to the maritime defense capabilities of the UAE Armed Forces thanks to its high operational efficiency and advanced technologies
It is reported that the "Al Taf" missile boat is part of the strategy aimed at improving the UAE's naval capabilities by equipping the UAE Armed Forces with state-of-the-art ships with the most advanced defense systems and technologies.
