Turkey's Military Factory and Shipyard Management (ASFAT) delivered patrol boat developed domestically to the Gendarmerie General Command.ü
The state-run defense enterprise announced on Twitter that the delivery of ten ASBOT KN-35 boats has started.
It noted that the design, prototype production and tests of the boat were carried out with local sources in only a 10-month period.ü
ASBOT KN-35 has a double-stepped hull -- 10.2 meters long and 3.2 meters wide.
Designed to operate in lakes, rivers and seas, the boat can speed up to 40 knots with two outboard engines of 250 hp.
