The weapon system, which includes the 30x113mm VENOM LR, the "world's lowest recoil medium caliber gun", developed by Samsun Yurt Savunma companies, to which CANiK is also affiliated, is preparing to enter the service of the security forces in the country.
The automatic weapon system featuring the VENOM LR carried out a successful firing test with the Ejder Yalçın 4x4 Armored Combat Vehicle in the inventory of the Special Operations Directorate of the General Directorate of Security.
In the firing demonstration for the medium caliber gun system developed by SYS Group companies at the Gölbaşı Campus of the General Directorate of Security, fixed and mobile shots were fired at fixed targets over the gun turret created with the 30x113mm VENOM LR medium caliber automatic cannon of AEI Systems and UNIROBOTICS' TRAKON 30 Remote Controlled Weapon System (RCWS) and Nurol Makina's Ejder Yalçın 4x4 Armored Combat Vehicle.
The firing test was followed by the needs and procurement authorities, as well as managers and representatives of defense industry companies.
