A new promotional video has been released for the “Muhafız” unmanned surface vehicle (USV) project, developed by Sekizaltmış Teknoloji and Anadolu Robotik. The system consists of two separate platforms, designed not only to protect fixed facilities but also to perform mobile missions.
Of the vehicles developed within the scope of the project, Arida-T is responsible for reconnaissance and command-control missions with onboard personnel, while Arida-M is designed for kamikaze missions to directly eliminate threat elements. Asymmetric threats detected by Arida-T are neutralized in a coordinated manner using Arida-M unmanned surface vehicles.
Arida-T, equipped with electro-optical systems and specialized radar components, provides critical features such as uninterrupted day/night surveillance, multi-target tracking, and early warning. The system is particularly notable for its structure optimized against asymmetric threats.

The Arida-M boats, each measuring 4.5 meters in length, can carry payloads over 50 kilograms and reach speeds of more than 50 knots. These Level 4 autonomous boats can be controlled via RF, LTE, or SATCOM. With built-in sensor systems, the platforms are developed especially for defending base zones and critical infrastructure.
It was also stated that customized versions of the Muhafız system have been developed to meet protection needs for fixed targets. These versions can be deployed around naval bases or critical facilities to provide continuous protection.
