In an interview with Defensehere.com Per-Jonas Trollsas M.Sc, Senior Key Account Manager of Patria, presented their underwater surveillance equipment at Euronaval 2024.
He said that the underwater surveillance equipment is mainly used for mine hunting. Patria SONAC ACS can produce high sound pressure over a wide frequency band (from infra- to ultrasonic bands), essentially capable of effectively simulating any ship. He also added that this system is being sold to several navies around the world.
He also presented Patria’s 120 mm mortar system which is easily installable on light, tracked chassis or wheeled armored vehicles in the 6x6/8x8 class or Navy vessels.
