Curtiss-Wright Corporation has announced multiple contracts with Rheinmetall to supply turret drive aiming and stabilization systems for the German Army’s Boxer Heavy Weapon Carrier and Hungary’s Lynx Infantry Fighting Vehicles.
Under the agreements, Curtiss-Wright will provide its modular Turret Drive Stabilization System (TDSS), hand controllers, and related components to support Rheinmetall’s Vehicle Systems Europe and International divisions. The TDSS enables accurate target tracking and turret stabilization while vehicles are in motion and can be upgraded for evolving mission needs.
Deliveries for the Boxer program will continue through 2029. For the Lynx IFV, deliveries under Phase 1 will be manufactured in Switzerland, with Phase 2 production extending to Australia. The company’s Swiss facility in Neuhausen am Rheinfall will lead manufacturing, with contributions from a global supplier network.
The Lynx program supports Hungary’s Zrínyi 2026 military modernization initiative.
