U.S. defense technology company Anduril Industries released new test footage demonstrating the anti-armor strike capabilities of its ALTIUS-600M loitering munition against an armored vehicle target.

According to a statement from the company, the system is designed to deliver center-mass impact, armor penetration, and lethal internal effects on armored vehicles. The released video footage shows the loitering munition successfully striking and penetrating a tracked armored vehicle on a test range.
Anduril stated that the integration of the anti-armor warhead enables maneuver forces across various domains to engage armored targets from standoff distances. The company noted that the system allows operators to launch the munition from beyond visual range, independently search and acquire targets, and execute strikes when ready.
According to the manufacturer, these capabilities extend the operational profile of the ALTIUS-600M platform into mission sets that were previously reserved for dedicated anti-armor weapons.
The ALTIUS-600M is the kinetic loitering munition variant of the ALTIUS-600 unmanned aerial system family, which was originally developed by Area-I before its acquisition by Anduril. The platform is designed for multi-domain deployment and can be launched from air, land, and sea platforms using a common launch tube.
