This agreement, which builds on a commitment signed in August 2024, originally included a firm order for one aircraft with additional options. The newly finalized deal also includes mission equipment, integrated logistics services, and a flight simulator. Strengthening Regional Defense

This effort reflects the government’s dedication to modernizing the equipment necessary for fulfilling national defense missions.”
General Luis H. De León, Commander in Chief of the Uruguayan Air Force, noted the significance of the acquisition: “This incorporation projects us technologically, allowing us to address emerging regional security paradigms with greater efficiency.”
