In October, the leading Turkish technology company CTech secured a groundbreaking agreement to provide NATO’s military satellite communication infrastructure, an area a single French manufacturer had dominated for years.
Cüneyd Fırat, CTech General Manager: “SecureARX, our Jamming Resistant Satellite Communication System, is designed to meet all the requirements for secure and flexible over-the-horizon communication for land, sea and air platforms, even in the harshest conditions. It serves military and government use scenarios seamlessly.”
“Defense exports are rising annually, fueled by high-value, cutting-edge products. Current and future sales to NATO and member countries are expected to generate billions in added value for Türkiye’s economy” he added.
The system will modernize NATO’s satellite systems with advanced jamming-resistant technology. It will be deployed on critical platforms to ensure uninterrupted communication and enhance NATO’s capabilities. This milestone paves the way for further collaboration with NATO members and boosts Türkiye’s appeal to customers worldwide.
Türkiye, with the second-largest army in NATO continues to make invaluable contributions to the alliance, bolstering deterrence and stability along the Southern flank. It’s exports to 179 countries.
