CTech, a leading Turkish technology firm specializing in communication, cybersecurity, and modeling-simulation technologies, is preparing to showcase its innovative solutions at IDEX 2025, which will be held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from February 17-21, 2025. CTech's 20th Anniversary and Expansion

As CTech celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025, the company reflects on its evolution from a venture capital firm to a leading player in the defense, aerospace, telecommunications, and space sectors. Founded on January 31, 2005, CTech has grown significantly, becoming a key contributor to defense industry advancements through its locally produced and innovative technologies.

Originally operating from a 300-square-meter office in Istanbul, CTech expanded over the years into a 5,500-square-meter facility, employing 260 professionals. In 2018, the company became a subsidiary of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), which further strengthened its market presence and capabilities in the defense and aerospace industries.

IDEX 2025 – A Premier Defense Event

IDEX 2025, the International Defense Exhibition and Conference, will take place at the ADNEC exhibition center in Abu Dhabi, bringing together key stakeholders from the defense industry, government bodies, armed forces, and military personnel. As one of the world’s leading defense events, IDEX provides a global platform for the latest defense technologies and encourages collaboration among international defense organizations.

The event offers participants the chance to network with policymakers, senior industry leaders, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and international delegations. Alongside the exhibition, IDEX will host several significant events, including the International Defense Conference (IDC), the IDEX and NAVDEX Start-up Zone, high-level roundtable meetings, the Innovation Journey, and IDEX Talks.

NAVDEX – A Key Maritime Defense Platform

NAVDEX, held concurrently with IDEX 2025, focuses on the maritime defense sector. This exhibition will feature a specially designed hall for warships and an adjacent marina for smaller vessels. Daily water demonstrations will be conducted as part of the event, adding a dynamic element to the proceedings.

IDEX 2023 in Numbers

IDEX 2023 saw participation from 1,353 companies across 65 countries, including 216 firms based in the UAE. The event attracted 860 official delegations from 72 countries and welcomed a total of 132,507 visitors. The exhibition spanned 165,000 square meters, with 1,300 media representatives covering the event. During IDEX 2023, agreements worth 23.34 billion AED were signed, highlighting the event's significance in the global defense industry.
