Skyfend, a Chinese company specializing in anti-drone systems and jammers since its establishment in 2020, participated in the IDEX 2025 exhibition held in Abu Dhabi from February 17-21. During the event, the company showcased its latest technologies designed to counter unmanned aerial threats. Sun Xiaoxiao, the Overseas Sales Director of Skyfend, spoke to Defensehere.com in an exclusive interview, introducing the company’s handheld anti-drone jammer, Skyfend Hunter.

Described as a cost-effective and versatile counter-drone solution, Hunter is designed to detect, identify, locate, and mitigate UAV threats. The system is capable of disrupting control links, navigation, and video transmission of multiple drones simultaneously. Featuring a compact, all-in-one design, it enables precise RF and GNSS jamming, making it suitable for applications such as event security, VIP protection, and energy facility security.
