Jonas Hjelm, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Government Affairs at Saab, will step down from his role and the Group Management team to take on a new position as Senior Advisor within the company.

Until a permanent replacement is appointed, Per de la Gardie, currently Head of Government Affairs Sweden at the company, will serve as interim Head of Government Affairs. The function will now report to Anders Carp, Deputy CEO of the Swedish company. This transition will be effective from January 29, 2025.

Saab President and CEO Micael Johansson expressed his gratitude for Hjelm’s contributions, stating, "I would like to thank Jonas for his strong contributions to Saab’s Group Management over several years and look forward to continuing to work with him in his new role."
