RENK Group announced on Tuesday that it will supply additional HSWL295 transmissions for Poland’s K2 main battle tanks under a new order worth more than €70 million. The transmissions will be produced at RENK’s Augsburg facility for integration into Poland’s expanding armored fleet.
Michael Masur, CEO of RENK Vehicle Mobility Solutions, said: “With its growing defense capacities and strategic investment in military technology, Poland is now among the largest providers of troops within NATO and is making a significant contribution to the collective security of Europe. We are firmly committed to providing our partners in the region with strong support through RENK technology.”
Poland, which borders Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, continues to enhance its defense architecture as part of its role on NATO’s eastern flank. RENK’s deliveries form part of ongoing cooperation aimed at strengthening European defense capabilities.
The company also announced the signing of a service support agreement with Ukraine to assist in maintaining its defense infrastructure. The move reflects RENK’s expanding involvement in Central and Eastern Europe’s defense modernization programs.
