Patria and SIMA INNOVATION (SIMA) have a strategic collaboration aimed at combining their capabilities to offer enhanced solutions for customers worldwide. The partnership will leverage the expertise of both companies to explore new business opportunities, focusing on joint presentations, demonstrations, and participation in key industry events.

This collaboration aligns Patria’s mission to provide superior operational solutions with SIMA’s goal to enhance the operational capabilities and security of personnel in challenging environments. Mikko Karppinen, Senior Vice President of Protected Mobility and Defence Systems at Patria, highlighted the synergy between the two companies: “SIMA’s mission to supply products that improve personnel security under demanding conditions complements Patria’s efforts to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring operational effectiveness. Niels Thorup, CEO of SIMA INNOVATION, emphasized the critical need for flexible, modular, and upgradable solutions that guarantee interoperability: “The cooperation between two companies highlights the contribution of Nordic defence industries to enhancing the capabilities of our Nordic and European allies.”

The partnership was formalized in a signing ceremony attended by senior leaders from both companies, including Niels Thorup, CEO of SIMA INNOVATION, and Joonas Vesterlund, Key Account Director at Patria.
