This contract allows the U.S. Air Force to continue evaluating NG InSight as part of its efforts to integrate it into the DAF Battle Network. This initiative is part of the Department of the Air Force’s contribution to the Department of Defense's Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control program, which focuses on improving military interoperability.
Northrop Grumman's NG InSight processor is designed to integrate third-party technologies, providing flexibility and adaptability to meet future demands. The system will also be tested for compatibility with existing Air Force communication networks to ensure efficient data-sharing across different domains.
Jenna Paukstis, Vice President and General Manager of Networked Information Solutions at Northrop Grumman, discussed the importance of maintaining secure communications to address evolving security challenges. The NG InSight™ system is intended to support quick decision-making while ensuring secure information sharing across mission areas.
This contract follows an earlier award for a Software Programmable Open Systems Compliant (SPOC) project, where NG InSight demonstrated its capabilities through a successful flight test. The new contract represents a further step toward developing a comprehensive communication network for the U.S. Air Force’s operational needs.
