Recognized as one of the largest defense trade shows in Central and Eastern Europe, MSPO serves as a meeting point for leading defense manufacturers, suppliers, and policymakers. Exhibitors are presenting the latest technologies and defense systems, with participation from major global players including Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo, Thales, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin, alongside Polish industry led by the state-owned PGZ Group.

The exhibition also hosts conferences, panel discussions, and bilateral meetings focused on security challenges, technological innovations, and opportunities for industrial cooperation. The event is organized with the support of the Polish Ministry of Defence and the Armament Agency, and it takes place under the honorary patronage of the President of Poland.

At the official opening ceremony, a letter from President Karol Nawrocki was read, underscoring MSPO’s role as a platform for cooperation and investment in national and international security. Speaker of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia addressed participants, expressing hope that the outcomes of the exhibition would contribute to greater safety for Poland and beyond.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz inaugurated the exhibition, stressing its strategic significance for Poland’s defense sector. He recalled last year’s commitments on expanding ammunition production, outlined progress in their implementation, and highlighted advancements in new technologies. The Minister also announced the launch of a national satellite program designed to improve real-time information capabilities.

Andrzej Mochoń, CEO of Targi Kielce, noted that this year’s program covers topics including artificial intelligence in command and logistics, cybersecurity, unmanned and counter-drone systems, and the importance of strengthening international industrial ties.

Last year’s edition, MSPO 2024, hosted 769 companies from 34 countries and over 28,000 visitors, setting a record exhibition area of more than 35,000 square meters.
