Mac Jee hosted the System Requirements Review (SRR) for its RATO-14X hypersonic program on July 10, bringing together representatives from key organizations involved in the project’s development.
Participants included members of FINEP, CLC Consultoria (a co-executing partner), and Brazil’s leading aerospace research institutions—IEAv, IAE, and ITA—which operate under the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DCTA). Representatives from the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) and the Brazilian Aerospace Industries Association (AIAB) also attended.
The meeting provided a technical update on the RATO-14X program, with a focus on defining system capabilities and aligning technical specifications with operational requirements. The session aimed to ensure a shared understanding among stakeholders of the system’s intended use and performance parameters.
Held at Mac Jee’s headquarters, the session gathered over 40 experts from multiple disciplines related to launch systems and hypersonic technologies. Remote participants also joined to offer feedback and technical assessments.
The RATO-14X is part of a broader initiative to advance Brazil’s capabilities in high-speed aerospace systems, with development supported by FINEP and the Brazilian Air Force.
