The aerospace world is preparing to descend on Le Bourget as the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show approaches. Scheduled for June 16–22, 2025, the event remains one of the industry’s most important gatherings, offering a platform for innovation, business, and strategic dialogue.
Organized by the SIAE, a subsidiary of the French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS), the Paris Air Show has long served as a meeting point for civil and defense aerospace professionals. Held every two years, it brings together stakeholders from across the globe for a week of exhibitions, flight demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
The first four days (June 16 to 19) will be reserved for trade visitors. These business-focused sessions will provide companies and government delegations with the chance to forge partnerships, finalize contracts, and explore the latest technological developments across the aerospace value chain. The final three days (June 20 to 22) will open the gates to the general public, offering an up-close look at aircraft and flight demonstrations.
In the 2023 edition, the show welcomed more than 2,500 exhibitors from 48 countries and attracted over 300,000 visitors, including both professionals and members of the public. A total of 150 aircraft were on display, and more than 210 flying demonstrations took place. While official figures for 2025 are yet to be confirmed, expectations are high. From next-generation commercial jets to unmanned aerial vehicles and cutting-edge military platforms, this year’s show is likely to exceed the scale and diversity of previous editions.
Beyond the aircraft on display and aerial demonstrations, the show provides a space for industry stakeholders to exchange ideas, explore collaborations and assess emerging technologies. As the aerospace sector continues to evolve in response to global challenges, the Paris Air Show offers a timely opportunity to take stock of where the industry stands and where it may be headed next.
