Held in partnership with the Digital Government Authority’s (DGA) Innovation Hub, the two-day initiative brought together over 40 participants, including students from the National Academy of Military Industries, GAMI employees, and representatives from companies active in the sector.

The competition focused on developing technical solutions to enhance the performance and efficiency of military supply chains. The event featured lectures, workshops on design thinking, and sessions exploring emerging technologies and AI applications in logistics.

Participants collaborated to identify supply chain challenges, design and prototype solutions, and present their projects to a panel of industry experts. Three winning teams were selected and awarded prizes, while all participants received certificates of recognition.

In a closing address, GAMI Governor Eng. Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali thanked the DGA for hosting the event and acknowledged the participants for their contributions. He emphasized the initiative's alignment with Saudi Arabia’s efforts to localize its defense industry and advance the goals of Vision 2030.

The Imdadthon initiative forms part of GAMI’s broader strategy to integrate digital transformation in the defense sector and support local technological capability development.
