France will send 40 more Scalp-EG cruise missiles and hundreds of air-to-ground guided missiles to Ukraine, the country’s defense ministry said Thursday.
Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said earlier that 6 CAESAR artillery systems mounted on tactical wheeled vehicles produced by state-owned defense company, Nexter, will be sent to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
Lecornu noted that Nexter will produce 72 artillery systems for Ukraine in 2024, with funding for 12 provided by France.
