Embraer Commercial Aviation has announced the establishment of a dedicated Global Leasing and Freighter team as part of its efforts to expand its presence in the cargo and leasing markets. The new team will operate from Amsterdam, consolidating expertise in E-Jet passenger-to-freighter conversions and commercial leasing operations under a unified structure.
Leading the newly formed team is Oliver Gerg, who has been appointed Senior Vice President (SVP) Global Leasing and Freighter. Gerg has previously led Embraer’s Global Leasing team and was involved in the launch of the E-Freighter program in 2022. He will report directly to Martyn Holmes, Chief Commercial Officer of
Embraer Commercial Aviation.
“The creation of the Global Leasing and Freighter team is part of our strategy to expand in the cargo and leasing markets,” said Holmes. “Oliver’s industry experience and familiarity with our business make him suited for this role.”
This organizational change is aimed at adapting to market demands and aligning Embraer’s operations with developments in the aviation industry.
