Türkiye's prominent commercial and military vehicle manufacturer, BMC, will participate in the IDEX 2025 International Defense Exhibition, scheduled to take place from February 17-21, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

BMC will welcome visitors at Stand 12-E06, where it will display its range of armored vehicles, advanced technological solutions, and defense systems to industry professionals.

As one of the world’s leading defense industry events, IDEX annually gathers international defense companies, senior military officials, and sector professionals, serving as a global platform for showcasing cutting-edge defense technologies and fostering international cooperation.

BMC, which integrates design, R&D, engineering, production, sales, and after-sales services, operates with high-quality standards across its modern facilities in Izmir Pınarbaşı, as well as in Istanbul, Ankara, and Sakarya. The company offers specialized solutions for the automotive and defense industries, backed by a wide product range, skilled workforce, and robust production capacity.

Having sold 400 armored vehicles to the UAE in 2022, BMC plans to further enhance its existing partnerships in the region.

IDEX 2025 Overview

IDEX 2025 will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), offering a comprehensive platform for exhibitors to connect with global defense stakeholders. The event brings together decision-makers from government bodies, armed forces, and defense companies, facilitating broad international engagement.

Participants will have the opportunity to network with global policymakers, key industry figures, prime contractors, original equipment manufacturers, and international delegations. The exhibition will feature a range of activities, including the International Defense Conference (IDC), IDEX and NAVDEX Start-up Zone, high-level roundtable discussions, the Innovation Journey, and IDEX Talks.

NAVDEX

Running concurrently with IDEX, NAVDEX focuses on naval defense technologies. The exhibition will be held in a dedicated hall with facilities at ADNEC Marina for warship displays and a dock for smaller vessels. NAVDEX will also feature daily maritime demonstrations.

IDEX 2023 Highlights

IDEX 2023 hosted 1,353 exhibiting companies from 65 countries, including 216 UAE-based firms. The event welcomed 860 official delegations from 72 countries and attracted 132,507 visitors. Spanning 165,000 square meters, IDEX 2023 saw the signing of contracts worth AED 23.34 billion and was covered by 1,300 media representatives.
