Strengthening its presence in the Middle East and Gulf region, ASELSAN has officially inaugurated its Oman Office.

The opening ceremony of ASELSAN’s Oman Office took place with the participation of Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, the head of Türkiye's Defense Industry Agency; Prof. Dr. Muhammet Hekimoğlu, Türkiye's Ambassador to Muscat; Ahmet Akyol, CEO of ASELSAN; Dr. Mehmet Demiroğlu, CEO of TUSAŞ; Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar, CEO of HAVELSAN; and Murat İkinci, CEO of ROKETSAN.

Located in Muscat, the new office is part of Turkish defense giant's strategy to strengthen its footprint in the Middle East and Gulf region, complementing its existing offices and subsidiaries in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan.

The Oman Office will contribute to ASELSAN's global growth as a company that develops game-changing technologies and focuses on export-oriented growth. The company's presence in Oman will create new opportunities for knowledge transfer and capacity-building activities between the two countries.

Akyol: Delivering Advanced Defense Solutions Highlighting the strategic importance of the new office, ASELSAN CEO Ahmet Akyol stated:

"This expansion is a testament to our commitment to providing advanced defense solutions and fostering partnerships in the Gulf region. Our Muscat Office will focus on marketing and trade activities. We are excited to contribute to the security and technological advancement of Oman and neighboring countries through the development of ASELSAN technologies, customer satisfaction, and comprehensive after-sales support for end-users."

At the inauguration, Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, President of Defence Industries, remarked:

The Turkish defense industry has achieved remarkable success globally with its advanced technologies and growing export capacity in recent years.
