Arı Savunma has introduced its new multipurpose unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), named “GÖKYAR,” through a public launch video. Designed for tasks such as illumination, public announcements, surveillance, and intervention, the UAV is especially suited for nighttime operations, search and rescue missions, and crowd control activities.
Developed entirely with domestic resources, GÖKYAR features a thermal camera and a high-resolution optical system capable of 180x zoom. Its announcement system can be clearly heard over a 1-kilometer area, providing effective communication in disaster response and crowd management scenarios. The UAV can illuminate a 1,000-square-meter area from 30 meters high with a 6500K pure white light for up to 30 minutes continuously.
GÖKYAR’s flight time reaches up to 50 minutes, and its tethered mode allows for unlimited operation time. The system is controllable via LTE and remote control and is built with a lightweight, durable composite body. Users can adjust both sound and light intensity depending on the mission scenario, making the platform adaptable to various operational needs.
Target use cases for GÖKYAR include disaster management, night surveillance, search and rescue operations, outdoor events, and media applications.
