According to data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Türkiye’s defense and aerospace industry achieved $746.476 million in exports in November 2025, bringing total exports for January–November to $7.445 billion. With this performance, the sector has surpassed the full-year 2024 total of $7.1 billion, setting a new historic annual export record with one month remaining.
The industry’s exports for the first 11 months of 2025 increased by 30% compared to the same period last year, when exports stood at $5.733 billion. November exports also rose 22% year-on-year, up from $613.7 million to $747 million.
SSB President Haluk Görgün: “A historic milestone for Türkiye”
President of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), Haluk Görgün, highlighted the sector’s historic performance on social media, stating:
“Türkiye has achieved a historic RECORD in defense and aerospace exports. In the January–November period, our exports increased from last year’s $5.733 billion by 30% to reach $7.445 billion. With this momentum, our sector has not only achieved strong monthly growth but has also surpassed all previous full-year export statistics in just 11 months.”
Görgün emphasized that this performance:

and reinforces the sector’s global competitiveness.
He added that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, international cooperation efforts have enabled Turkish companies to export to almost every region of the world.
Strategic Priorities Ahead
Görgün outlined SSB’s ongoing objectives:
