EDEX 2025, one of the leading defense and security exhibitions in the region, will begin on 1 December in Egypt, bringing together a broad range of international military and industry participants.

The event is expected to draw strong attendance from across Africa and the Middle East, offering visitors a chance to see the latest technologies, equipment and systems used across land, sea and air domains.

Military personnel, government officials, industry professionals and international delegations will gather for the four-day exhibition. Organizers project participation from more than 80 countries, over 40,000 visitors and more than 450 companies.

Held every two years with the support of the Egyptian Armed Forces, EDEX is seen as an important platform for Türkiye’s defense industry, offering new opportunities for outreach and cooperation.

Since its launch in 2018, the exhibition has continued to grow. The first edition hosted more than 350 companies from nearly 40 countries. EDEX 2021 featured national pavilions from 21 countries and nearly 400 companies from 42 nations. The 2023 edition welcomed more than 400 defense and security firms from 46 countries, with Türkiye ranking second after China in the number of exhibiting companies, represented by 23 firms.
