Turaç, one of Türkiye’s prominent ammunition producers, will participate in the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025), scheduled to take place from July 22 to 27, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center. The company will exhibit its product portfolio at Booth 3-C05 in Hall 3, including offerings under the Sterling, Kaiser, and V-Sport brands.

Headquartered in Türkiye and with an export footprint spanning 94 countries, Turaç manufactures over 200 million cartridges annually, serving both civilian and military markets. Its attendance at IDEF comes as part of a broader international outreach strategy in 2025, which includes participation in six global defense and hunting exhibitions among them the NRA 2025 Show in Atlanta and the Istanbul Prohunt.

In parallel with its commercial expansion, Turaç recently achieved a significant institutional milestone by being admitted into the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) framework. This designation positions Turaç as the first private Turkish ammunition manufacturer eligible to participate in NATO-led cooperative procurement processes, enhancing its profile in European and North American defense markets.

IDEF 2025, hosted by Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defence and supported by the Presidency of Defence Industries, continues to be one of the leading defense exhibitions globally. Managed by the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation and organized by KFA Fairs, the biennial event serves as a strategic platform for industry players to present new technologies and forge international partnerships. The 2023 edition hosted 1,461 companies from 54 countries and welcomed nearly 95,000 professional visitors from 107 countries, including 187 official delegations.
