Turaç, one of Türkiye’s leading ammunition manufacturers, is set to participate in the 12th International Istanbul Prohunt Hunting Arms and Outdoor Sports Exhibition, which will take place from May 28 to 31, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center. The company will showcase its broad range of products under its brands Sterling, Kaiser, and V-Sport, aiming to strengthen ties with both domestic and international partners.

Prohunt, recognized as one of the top events in the European hunting and outdoor sports calendar, brings together manufacturers, distributors, and industry professionals from across the globe. Turaç’s presence underscores its continued commitment to reaching new markets and expanding its export footprint, which currently spans 94 countries.

Earlier this year, Turaç represented Türkiye at the NRA 2025 Show in Atlanta, Georgia—one of the most prominent events in the U.S. firearms industry. In total, the company plans to attend six major international defense and hunting fairs in 2025.

Milestone: Admitted into NATO Procurement Framework
In parallel with its growing commercial efforts, Turaç recently achieved a significant milestone by being officially admitted into the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) system. This makes Turaç the first Turkish private-sector ammunition manufacturer eligible to participate in NATO-led cooperative projects and multinational procurement processes.

The company’s inclusion in the NSPA framework is expected to enhance its credibility in defense markets across Europe and North America, while also signaling compliance with NATO standards. Founded in 1987, Turaç produces over 200 million cartridges annually, serving both civilian and military customers.
