Türkiye-based defense manufacturer SYS Group will present its integrated portfolio at Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 in London, following its acquisition of UK-based AEI Systems. The event, taking place from 9 to 12 September at ExCeL London, will bring together global defense and security stakeholders.

SYS Group, which operates under the CANiK, UNIROBOTICS, MECANiK, and AEI Systems brands, will showcase products spanning small arms, medium-caliber weapons, remote weapon systems, and electro-optics. The company aims to expand its footprint in the United Kingdom and strengthen cooperation with international partners.

Cahit Utku Aral - General Manager SYS Group

According to SYS Group General Manager Cahit Utku Aral, the UK remains a strategically important defense market with a strong industrial base, and DSEI serves as a key meeting point within it. He noted that AEI Systems’ role as the group’s UK hub enhances the company’s ability to develop solutions tailored to British defense requirements while also supporting broader international business objectives.

AEI Systems serves as SYS Group’s UK production, design, and business development hub. Specializing in medium-caliber guns, the company’s VENOM LR 30x113 mm revolver cannon is among the key systems to be displayed. Designed for land and naval platforms, the VENOM LR operates with both NATO and European ammunition standards and is notable for its low recoil and adjustable rate of fire.

At the exhibition, CANiK will display its full range of pistols currently in active service, including the newly introduced METE MC9 PRIME, designed for both professional and civilian users. Other products include MT-X Conversion Kits for training, .50 caliber heavy machine guns, the CANiK FALCON FLEX 50 mount for rotary-wing aircraft, and the M2 QCB Suppressor and Flash Hider Kit.

The MECANiK MOxL optic, designed for integration with remote weapon systems, will also be featured, offering extended operational life and ballistic compatibility.

From the AEI Systems lineup, the 20x110 AEI-HS804 naval gun and manual mounts will be on display alongside the VENOM LR. UNIROBOTICS will present remote weapon stations, including the TRAKON LITE, optimized for lightweight land and sea platforms, and the TRAKON 30, compatible with the VENOM LR and tested in operational environments against aerial threats, including drones.
