STM Defense Technologies Engineering and Trade Inc. showcases the military maritime platforms it has developed with national resources to Europe.
Euronaval-2024, one of the world's leading maritime defense fairs, will be held in Paris, the capital of France, between 4-7 November. STM, which builds surface and underwater platforms for the Turkish Navy, Ukraine, Pakistan and Malaysian Navies, introduces 5 different naval projects in Europe.
Türkiye's Pride: The First National Frigate Takes Its Place on the European StageTürkiye's first national frigate project, MİLGEM Stack-Class Frigate (TCG İSTANBUL), of which STM is the designer and main contractor, is exhibited at the STM booth. Türkiye's first national corvette project, MİLGEM Ada Class, in which STM acts as the main subcontractor, has delivered four units to the Turkish Navy so far and has achieved export success, is also taking its place at the STM stand.
STM500, Türkiye's first national submarine for special operations and offensive purposes, which STM started with its own resources and left behind the durable boat test production, is presented to the participants. STM MPAC, a national assault boat design with high speed-maneuverability and capable of developing attacks with surface-to-surface guided projectiles, and a model of the logistics support ships that STM has added to the inventory of the Turkish Navy and Pakistan Navy are also on display at the STM stand.
Goal: To Realize New Exports in Europe in Military ShippingSTM General Manager Özgür Güleryüz pointed out that Türkiye is one of the 10 countries in the world that can design and produce its own warship and said:
"As the leading engineering company in Türkiye's military shipbuilding industry, we equip the Turkish Navy with national and modern platforms on the one hand, and on the other hand, we share our experience with the navies of friendly brother countries and sign exports that will contribute to our country's economy. We have achieved export successes in Pakistan, Ukraine and Malaysia with our unique warships that have successfully proven themselves in the Blue Homeland and in international waters. With the Ukrainian Corvettes that we continue to build for the Ukrainian Navy, we realized Türkiye's first corvette export to Europe. We will exhibit our modern naval platforms at Euronaval in order to open the door to new exports and to sign collaborations in the field of military maritime in Europe. We will continue to successfully represent our country in the world arena with our flexible engineering solutions, original design and technological capabilities."
Euronaval 2024 is held in Paris, France, on November 4-7.
