ST Engineering announced the delivery of its first locally developed and built mine countermeasure unmanned systems (MCM US) to the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN).
The MCM US comprises an unmanned surface vessel with a towed synthetic aperture sonar and autonomous underwater vehicles.
This delivery supports the transformation of the RSN’s mine countermeasure capabilities using unmanned technologies.
The development and operationalisation of the MCM US are the result of collaboration between the RSN, the Defence Science and Technology Agency, and ST Engineering.
