Spain has no plans to send its Patriot missile defense system stationed in Türkiye to Ukraine, Defense Minister Margarita Robles said on Thursday.
Asked by Spanish state radio RNE about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's request for Patriot missiles from Spain, Robles said "this is not part of the government's plan at this time."
The missile defense system has been deployed at Incirlik Air Base in Adana, Türkiye since Jan. 26, 2015 as part of a NATO mission.
