Turkish firearms manufacturer Sarsılmaz took part in the 17th Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2025).
Speaking to Defensehere.com, Ödül Öden, Head of International Sales at Sarsılmaz, stated that the company held a number of high-level meetings throughout the event. These included engagements with senior political and military officials from Malaysia, as well as virtual sessions with local companies to explore industrial collaboration in the region.According to Öden, the company’s booth drew considerable attention, particularly for its newest rifle chambered in a Russian caliber, which was presented in the Asia-Pacific region for the first time. The product's debut underlined Sarsılmaz’s focus on innovation and adaptability to regional market needs.
Sarsılmaz had previously supplied firearms to Malaysia, and Öden expressed confidence that the exhibition would lead to new contracts and stronger partnerships. He emphasized that Sarsılmaz combines technological capability, operational experience, and a commitment to long-term cooperation in every market it enters.
