Saab has received an order from BAE Systems Hägglunds for the Universal Tank and Anti-Aircraft System (UTAAS) sight and fire control system, intended for integration into the Combat Vehicle 90 (CV90). The contract, valued at SEK 880 million, was recorded in the first quarter of 2025.

UTAAS is designed to enhance targeting capabilities for both land and aerial threats. The system features a modular design with integrated sight and fire control functions, allowing for improved engagement accuracy against ground targets, helicopters, and high-speed aircraft.

To address growing demand, Saab has partnered with manufacturers in Europe to expand production capacity for UTAAS.
