The 33rd International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) wrapped up in Kielce, Poland, after four days of showcasing the latest military technologies. Held from 2 to 5 September under the patronage of the Polish Presidency and supported by the Ministry of Defence, the event gathered 811 companies from 35 countries and official delegations from 45 nations, reaffirming its status as one of the largest defense exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe.

Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, unmanned systems, and next-generation ammunition production were among the main themes this year. Major global players such as Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo, Thales, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin exhibited alongside Poland’s state-owned defense group PGZ. From Türkiye, SYS Group (with its CANiK brand), Repkon, ASELSAN, and Roketsan were among the companies presenting new solutions for land and air platforms.

Award Ceremony

As in previous years, the exhibition concluded with the presentation of the DEFENDER awards, recognizing innovative products and solutions in the defense sector. Winners included PIT-RADWAR, WB Group, PEX Defence Polska, KOPACKI, Politechnika Gdańska, PCO S.A., VIGO Photonics, Transbit, ARPOL, the Military Institute of Armoured and Automotive Technology, Chema DS, and Fabryka Broni “Łucznik”-Radom.

Awards for the most notable trade fair presentations went to companies such as Boeing, Indra, L3Harris Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Poongsan Corporation, Repkon Machine, the Turkish Defence Agency, Team Defence Australia, Hanwha Aerospace, Hyundai Rotem, RTX, and Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ).

The President of Poland’s award was granted to ICEYE Polska. Special distinctions were also presented to companies including Teldat, Belma, MESKO, KenBIT, and Autocomp Management.

This year’s edition demonstrated the continued relevance of MSPO as a meeting point for the defense industry. In 2024, the exhibition hosted 769 companies from 34 countries and attracted 28,000 visitors, breaking records with more than 35,000 square meters of exhibition space.
