In March 2025, Finnish defense company Patria hosted its flagship Arctic Event in the snowy landscape of Lapland, presenting a broad range of its latest defense innovations in a real arctic environment.
The event brought together international guests, military delegations, media, and industry partners to witness Patria’s newest capabilities under extreme conditions. Featured systems included the Patria NEMO and Patria TREMOS mortar systems, Patria’s leading wheeled armored vehicle portfolio — including the 6x6 and AMV XP 8x8 — as well as the latest configuration of its new tracked vehicle. The demonstrations also highlighted Patria’s drone systems in action. The Patria NEMO is a remote-controlled 120mm mortar system designed for high mobility and automated fire control. Compact and lightweight, it can be integrated onto a variety of platforms to support versatile combat missions. The Patria TREMOS, a towed mortar system mounted on a mobile platform, addresses modern battlefield demands by combining enhanced mobility with precision and high firepower. Also featured were Patria’s AMV XP 8x8 and 6x6 armored vehicles, known for their operational flexibility, high protection levels, and proven performance in international missions. The AMV XP offers superior firepower and battlefield survivability, while the cost-effective 6x6 delivers multi-role capabilities ideal for a range of mission profiles. The Arctic Event 2025 reaffirmed Patria’s focus on delivering mission-ready solutions adapted to operate in the world’s most demanding conditions.
