Naval Group announced the successful testing and installation of CONTRALTO®, the anti-torpedo reaction module, on two Jose Rizal-class frigates as part of the modernization of the Philippine Navy fleet.
Additionally, an upgrade of the CMS was supplied by Hanwha Systems co. and the C-Guard decoy launcher systems by Terma, ending a two-week long process.
The next contractual milestone is planned in 2024 with the delivery of CANTO® anti-torpedo countermeasures and the training of the crews by Naval Group.
