Globally known defense industry companies such as KNDS, Thales and Airbus from Europe, ASELSAN and Sarsılmaz from Türkiye, NORINCO from China, Rosoboronexport from Russia, DEPO and GIDS from Pakistan and KAI and LIG from South Korea also took part in the fair. The companies had the opportunity to exhibit their state-of-the-art products for land, air and sea systems.
The Cyber Security Conference, held on April 22 as part of the fair, brought together experts from different countries on the topics of protection of critical infrastructures, solutions against cyber threats and regional cooperation.
Mustafa Ati al-Daraci, Chairman of the Iraqi Defense Industry Committee, told Defensehere that IQDEX 2025 was productive in terms of strong international participation and technical cooperation, and that they signed memorandums of understanding with many companies. Daraci also drew attention to the collaborations with Turkish defense industry companies and noted that these relations will deepen in terms of technology transfer and joint production in the coming period.
