Nazario Bianchini, Head of Sales at Iveco Defence Vehicles (IDV), spoke to Defensehere.com during the MSPO defence exhibition held in Kielce, Poland, from September 2 to 5, 2025. He underlined the importance of the Polish and wider Eastern European market for the company, pointing to new opportunities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

At the exhibition, Iveco showcased the Multi-Role Tactical Vehicle (MTV), a platform already in service with the Dutch Armed Forces, where more than 1,300 units have been delivered. Bianchini described the MTV as a versatile solution for different operational environments, noting that the vehicle could meet the requirements of regional armed forces, including those in Poland.

Alongside the MTV, Iveco also displayed a model of its amphibious vehicle, which has been sold to the U.S. Marine Corps and the Italian Navy in recent years. Bianchini highlighted its relevance for Central and Eastern Europe, where rivers and waterways present operational challenges, adding that the vehicle’s capability to carry infantry and cross obstacles makes it a potential solution for the Polish Army.

He also emphasized Iveco’s extensive truck line, from 4×4 to 10×10 configurations, available in both protected and unprotected versions.
