IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 conclude with AED 25.15B in Deals; 2027 edition confirmed

The International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defence & Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025 concluded successfully at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. The event saw the participation of approximately 1,700 companies from around 70 countries, solidifying its status as a premier global platform for defense and security.

Over the course of five days, Tawazun Council announced 55 deals worth a total of AED 25.15 billion, reflecting a 10% increase compared to the 2023 edition. The final day alone saw 15 contracts signed, valued at AED 1.43 billion, including agreements with both local and international companies.

Notable local deals included contracts with International Golden Group, Al Taif, Itqan Al Khaleej Computers, and e-Marine, while international agreements featured Lockheed Martin and Insitu from the US, Safran Helicopter Engines from France, and GEW Technologies from South Africa.

Majed Ahmed Al Jabri, spokesperson for Tawazun Council, emphasized that the success of IDEX and NAVDEX 2025 underscores the UAE’s growing position as a strategic hub for defense and security investments.

IDEX and NAVDEX 2027 Dates Confirmed with Strong Exhibitor Commitment

The organizing committee has confirmed that the next edition of IDEX and NAVDEX will take place from January 21 to 25, 2027, at ADNEC, with 70% of the exhibitors from 2025 already committing to return.

The International Defence Conference (IDC) will also be held a day before the exhibitions, serving as a vital forum for global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss emerging threats and innovative defense solutions.
