Mechanical and Chemical Industry Company (MKEK) announced that it has succeeded to produce 155 mm Artillery Modular Charge Systems domestically.
In a video shared on the company’s Twitter account, the following statements were included:
“We are proud to present, the domestic 155 mm Artillery Modular Charge System which is used as a propellant charge in the ammunition of the Panther and the Storm howitzers produced by our company, to the serve of our heroic army and noble nation.”

We have overcome another obstacle in the formation of a fully independent defense industry.
We continue to meet the needs of our army and serve our nation by carrying out R&D and corporate works effectively.
We are proud to produce the Modular Charge System, which used to be procured from abroad, with Turkish capital and the hard work of Turkish people.
We produce the propellant charge used in the Panther and the Storm howitzer weapon systems and long-range destruction ammunition produced by MKEK with totally domestic and national resources and offer them to the service of security forces.”
