Baykar Technologies CTO Selçuk Bayraktar shared the production line photos of the unmanned combat aircraft MIUS on his Twitter account.
Bayraktar shared, “A big flying fish entered the production line.”
“The production development model of the first prototype of our Combat Unmanned Aircraft System (MIUS) has entered the integration line.”
MIUS Project
MIUS (Combat Unmanned Aircraft System) is an unmanned combat aircraft with a turbofan engine currently in development by Baykar Technologies.
The aircraft will have a take-off weight of 5.5 tons and a payload capacity of 1.5 tons.
While the initial prototypes will fly at subsonic speeds, it is aimed that future iterations will go supersonic.
