Bayraktar TB3 UCAV, developed by Baykar Technologies, will be exhibited publicly for the first time at TEKNOFEST 2023, which will be held at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul between April 27 and May 1.
Bayraktar TB3 UCAV, which can be seen on the production line in the photographs taken during President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center on Sunday, will begin flight tests this year. Baykar Chairman of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar and Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar gave information during the presidents visit about the latest status of the company’s projects.
Bayraktar TB3 UCAV will be used on the TCG Anadolu ship
Bayraktar TB3 UCAV will be the first armed unmanned aerial vehicle in the world with the ability to take off and land from short-runway ships such as TCG Anadolu.
The capabilities of Bayraktar TB3 is expected to be a significant progress for unmanned aerial vehicles in this class.
Bayraktar TB3 will also have SATCOM integration for beyond line of sight operation capabilities.
