ULAK Communications Inc. celebrates its 8th anniversary

ULAK Communications Inc., which was founded on April 20, 2017 to carry out R&D and engineering activities for mobile and broadband communication systems used by commercial network operators, has entered its 8th year.

Haluk Görgün, President of the Defence Industry Agency (SSB) and Chairman of the Board of ULAK Communications Inc., shared the following message on social media:

“We are celebrating the 8th anniversary of ULAK Communications Inc.! A pioneer in national communication technologies, ULAK is not just a tech company today, but also a key symbol of our digital independence.

Born from within our defense industry and developing robust solutions in its fields of activity, ULAK contributes more and more each year to Türkiye’s technology vision. On this meaningful anniversary, I sincerely congratulate all our engineers and colleagues who have contributed, and I wish ULAK continued and growing success.

I wholeheartedly believe that, with the same faith and determination, we will continue to build Türkiye’s communication future together.”

ULAK Communications Inc. was established by Defence Industry Technologies Inc. (SSTEK) on April 20, 2017, to carry out R&D and engineering activities for mobile and broadband communication systems used by commercial network operators; to produce, test, assemble, and integrate these systems and their spare parts; to conduct their marketing, sales, import, and export; and to provide training, maintenance, and support services.

ASELSAN acquired 51% of ULAK Communications Inc.’s shares from SSTEK on October 1, 2018. HAVELSAN acquired 25% of the company’s shares from SSTEK on February 10, 2020.
