WB GROUP has signed a cooperation agreement with the General Tadeusz Kościuszko Military University of Land Forces (AWL) aimed at advancing the education and training of specialists and future commanders of Poland’s Missile and Artillery Forces. The agreement establishes a framework for joint activities in training, knowledge and experience sharing, and the development of modern technologies for the Polish Armed Forces.
The agreement was signed by Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice President of WB GROUP, and Col. (Ret.) Norbert Świętochowski, PhD, DSc, Eng., Professor at AWL and Vice-Rector for Education. The partnership will be implemented through joint educational initiatives and the exchange of expertise between academia and industry.
– Modern command systems are not developed in laboratories, nor are they tested solely at military training grounds. Innovation emerges where users’ needs meet knowledge and industrial expertise. This is precisely why cooperation with the Military University of Land Forces is so important to us – said Adam Bartosiewicz, Vice President of WB GROUP.
The agreement marks a new stage in cooperation between WB GROUP and the Military University of Land Forces. The long-term partnership will combine the experience and expertise of the defence industry with the capabilities of the military academic community, supporting the development of modern training and education methods.
An important part of the cooperation will focus on developing educational applications of the TOPAZ Integrated Combat Management System. Incorporating WB GROUP’s solution, which is used by the Polish Armed Forces, into university courses will allow students to gain hands-on experience and better prepare for future service in the Missile and Artillery Forces.
The agreement also provides for the exchange of knowledge and experience between users of WB GROUP systems, the academic community and industry. This will help improve the training process while ensuring that operational experience and users’ requirements are incorporated into the continued development of command and fire-control systems.
